TV: FRINGE "THE ARRIVAL"

The team investigates a strange cylinder, found in a deadly explosion at a construction site in New York City. The cylinder was in the middle of the explosion and was completely unharmed. Olivia uncovers a correlation between different disturbing events in "Season 1 Episode 4" of "Fringe".

"Fringe" keeps us guessing while adding more puzzle pieces to the mix in this episode. The strange gets stranger with the addition of a creepy bald headed watcher guy. There is also a man who has a weapon that seems like it's from the future and a mind reading device that looks like it hurts. This episode was so out there that even in the end, the episode's story isn't explained and Joshua Jackson's character is now a believer in all this crazy stuff.

TV: LITTLE BRITAIN USA "EPISODE 1"

While on vacation to Mississippi, British tourist check into a motel; Ellie Grace heads to a summer camp; and a sheriff shows off his guns in "Season 1 Episode 1" of "Little Britain USA".

This series premiere to the popular British sketch comedy show takes a while to get used to. But after the first couple of sketches I became more comfortable with the weird characters and the guys playing women, as there is not a one woman in the cast, only two guys and lots of characters. Rosie O'Donnell does show up to poke fun at herself and there is a lot of poking. She is a great sport through it all and almost too great based on the jokes.

My main problem with the show is the laugh track which isn't too bad actually but, you know, it's a laugh track. Also, there is never a steady flow of funny jokes. With each sketch there is a few laughs and then a final big laugh, but the final big laugh is always a good one. That's how sketch shows go though, you have some that work and some that don't. Most of "Little Britain USA" works though. My favorite was the astronaut guy talking to the boy scouts and the most uncomfortable goes to the final sketch with the two guys at the gym.

TV: CHUCK "CHUCK VERSUS THE FIRST DATE"

Chuck, Sarah and Casey try to retrieve a vital component for the new Intersect: The Cipher.
At the Buy More, the search for the store's Assistant Manager begins. Chuck and Sarah go on their first date. Casey is again instructed to eliminate Chuck as soon as the new Intersect comes online in "Season 2 Episode 1" of "Chuck".

A good but not great season premier to one of my favorite shows on television last year. The show continues with it's awesome soundtrack. Any show that plays a Flight of The Conchords song, is okay in my book.

TV: LIFE "FIND YOUR HAPPY PLACE"

We meet John Armstrong, a man who works at a stationary store with greeting cards, is suspected of murdering people by putting people in trunks and letting them suffocate. Also, an ice cream truck driver sells more than ice cream from his truck in "Season 2 Episode 1" of "Life".

This season premier of "Life" confirmed to me why I think it's one of the best shows ever. It's not like your regular cop show. Just look at the writing, the acting, the cases that are involved. Not to mention the fact that the main cop is a millionaire trying to figure out who framed him for murder. Good stuff.
